Fit problems in the browser using Ctrl -, Ctrl +, or Ctrl 0. Hide these instructions using the button Hide / Show Instructions.
Set the types of problems, +, −, ×, or ÷, using the checkmarks at the upper left. You may use any combination.
Use the selectors in the top left corner to set the difficulty of math problems by selecting 1, 2, or 3 digits for the top and bottom numbers. Set decimals for no decimals, 10s column, or 100s column. Answers may have twice as many decimals for multiplication problems.
Set division difficulty in the box provided. The number that you set will be the largest possible answer.
Add a currency character. Clear the Currency box to not work with a currency.
While entering the answer you will need to use the mouse or the arrow keys to place the cursor.
Click the Check Me button to check your answers. The button text will change. Click the same button again for a new problem.
The virtual keypad enters numbers only in the sum text area starting from the right digit to the left digit. The "CE" button clears the left digit.
Uncheck "Regroup Numbers Here" limits addition and subtraction problems to numbers that do not need regrouping.

Check the box following the X lattice button to turn the lattice on or off.
The digits of the multiplicand are placed at the top of the lattice.
The digits of the multiplier are placed at the right edge of the lattice.
Individually multiply each side digit by each top digit and type the result into the appropriate lattice segment. Each outlined lattice cell is provided with two boxes, on for the one's digit of that result and the other for the ten's digit.
After multiplying each digit add the diagonals as show by the color of the boxes. The first diagonal will only contain one box, the second three boxes, the third four boxes, etc. Do not add across diagonals.
Place the one's column number of each addition in the answer box consecutively. Carry the tens column digit to the top of each diagonal in the box provided. Add this digit with that next diagonal.
Count the number of digits of decimals in the problem and insert the decimal point in the appropriate place in the answer.
Check the box following the Partial Sums button to turn partial sums fields on or off.
Add only the hundreds column in the hundreds field box.
Add only the tens column in the tens field box.
Add only the ones column in the ones field box.
Finally, add the columns of all three boxes for the total sum
